Forgiveness is not for the other person: it is for you. Forgiveness allows your spirit to not be kept in bondage by someone or something. You have the power to forgive and free yourself. Unforgiveness keeps us captive. Unforgiveness becomes a part of grief; it’s a type of mourning that keeps us holding on to something we feel has wronged us. Grab hold of forgiveness and set yourself free; don’t wait for anyone to free you. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. In order for forgiveness to take place something has to die. Often, we have to let die those things we find hardest to let go of. We have to die to a bad relationship, we have to die to a divorce. Let forgiveness come in and heal you like a soothing balm to mend and repair the broken heart. The Spirit of God came to set the captives free and to heal the broken hearted. Funeralize your negative thoughts and emotions and bury them once and for all. You were created to live life abundantly ... mind, body and spirit. #forgiveness
Do your own spiritual intake and ask yourself “what do I need to learn and understand about this situation?” What do I need to learn and understand about the other people involved in this situation. What do I need to learn and understand about myself in this situation. Sometimes just answering these questions, you will find the answers you have been searching for. Then you can take what you have learned and grow from there.
Your healing is not dependent on anyone other than yourself. You must learn what it is that loops or pulls you in that particular pain you feel. Feel with your Spirit through and past the pain and work through the process. Always remember: pain, process and progress.
Dreams and visions can empower you. Dreams and visions can be more profound for some than others. Our dreams can tell us many things Do you still dream awake or asleep? Did you know many women are so overwhelmed with everyday life that they have forgotten those dreams from when they were little girls and when they had visions and dreams of “what I want to be when I grow up” - where do those dreams go? Why did we forget them, why do we just accept life, why and when do we change it? Do we believe in our inner power that we can change it.
Did you know when we are asleep our body replenishes itself, our immune system, weight loss and cellular reconstruction. Sleep is vital to our overall being, to be the best woman we can be. Don’t allow your fears to interrupt or steal from you by the pressures of life. We need to create inner peace within ourselves in world of chaos to rebuild. God gave us dreams and visions for a reason.
He also tells us to write the vision and make it plain so that others can run with it.
Write down your visions, your dreams and your goals. Something about the written word holds us accountable to attaining our goals. If for some reason you had to convey your dream or vision to someone else you could give them your vision already mapped out. Journaling can be helpful in reminding ourselves about where we want to go. Write written confessions of your visions and dreams and hold yourself accountable by power of the spoken word. Words can work for or against - we literally have the power to speak our world around us into existence. Think of a child that is reassured and spoken to with praises and encouragement opposed to the child that hears and is spoken to negatively, harshly or without hope - you will create two very different children - so believe in the power of words. Dreams and visions are God’s gift to the insight of our soul. Create a confession and speak it out everyday to empower yourself - one I use is: For God gives gifts and his call can never be withdrawn..(Romans 11:20)
Confession...Thank you God that You have gifted me and called me to dream and have visions. I already have everything I need to accomplish it. I praise You because You never take away the purpose of my life nor the gifts to fulfill it.
Stand in faith to bring your dreams to pass.
Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear is a spirit that is unnatural and doesn’t come from our Divine Creator, our heavenly Father. Life often deals us a challenging hand but we have the tools to be more than conquerors. Often the spirit of fear can manifest in our minds and we begin to act out these beliefs through our behaviors usually unknowingly.
Most women endure private fears, shame and guilt which can lead to physical illness. For some of us, life can feel like a roaring lion but we must remember God has already called us fearfully and wonderfully made and that he loves us and nothing could ever separate us from his love. When you feel helpless and hopeless hold on to his truth that he believes in you so much that he gave his Son for you. You are just that important to him. When the lion of life seems larger than you, be assured that you are well able and equipped the handle him...he’s a lion but has no teeth. There is nothing you can’t do. After a busy day each day, allow your spirit to be brought to a calming place. Finding a quiet tranquil place that offers you wonderful memories, it could be a living room surrounded with family pictures. A kitchen where you have created some of your best meals or even your garage where you have stored paints of all the favorite colors you have painted in some of your favorite rooms...but wherever your place is find it or create it. Pray and meditate listen to your spirit listen to your heart allow your inner spirit guide to lead you. Invite the spirit in to fellowship with you and just breathe.
For those of us that celebrate Easter in the traditional spiritual sense in the resurrection of Christ, this is a very powerful and moving time of year. As I reflect on new beginnings and new life I am in awe of the story of Christ’s resurrection to give us a “do over” for redemption. The symbolism of freeing us to live and not experience captivity to our fleshly desires. We can overcome death, sickness, disease, anxiety and a host of things that hold us back from living our life in the purpose for which we were created. Do you know that God’s spirit knew you before you were in your mother’s womb? How profound, and that the Spirit had a plan for our lives, one of good and not of evil. A plan to prosper and with good intentions. Life is to be celebrated. You’ve heard the cliche when life gives you lemons make lemonade. This is how God expected life to be for us.
When tragedies or disappointments come our way we must know that we have the power to overcome and come out victorious. Don’t hold on and nurse your shortcomings or areas in your life that are still in progress. Don’t curse the situation, ask your spirit why this has arrived at your doorstep and what should you learn from this. God tells us that all things work for our good. Don’t rehearse it and continue to speak on it, giving it control over your life, you are what you meditate and speak. The power of words is real. The very creation in all of its splendor and beauty was spoken into existence. Embrace your power don’t take it for granted. No matter how messy life gets you have the ability to clean it up, let life get a little out of control but laugh about it, live about it and love about it. We were intended to impact the world in a mighty way. You are a masterpiece created fearfully and wonderfully. Don’t get stuck in life being a human “doing” … we are human beings, so BE in YOU. You are a miracle in motion similar to the butterfly. God created you to be a vessel, no matter what your past mistakes they are all part of his plan for your life. Don’t waste your failures call them “life lessons” ; plan to fail forward and upward that way you will never fail. Always be in recovery and discovery of yourself. You are a celebrity in every true meaning of the word, celebrate yourself. Go where you are celebrated not where you are tolerated. God’s opinion of you makes other people’s opinion of you irrelevant.
Gain wisdom as you move along your life journey. Wisdom is Godly supernatural intellect; it is something you cannot buy, there is not a college on earth where you can major in Wisdom. We are told in all of our getting to get Wisdom and understanding. Wisdom is so critical to our life that it stands in the middle of the street screaming at us as we walk by. It is loud proclaiming “hey, its me Wisdom ... get me I am here to help you on this journey.” By obtaining wisdom we gain power. Power is when you bring your spiritual energy to serve your personality - the combination of the two is unstoppable. For those of us experiencing pain in areas of our lives, we have the power to overcome spiritual pain. Pain is just pain, however long-suffering, is for a worthy cause (as an example childbirth.) Do not measure yourself on what you think your life should look like. What is success, what is failure. Both are spaces we would never experience or know if we didn’t judge or compare what we thought our lives should mirror. Embrace your current space and if we are always doing our best then we are in the right space.
